Grand Bend, Ontario

Sand art along Lake Huron shore :)

We head out on our bikes and find the beach on Lake Huron. Nothing better for the soul than a walk along a beautiful beach. The sand is so nice and the water absolutely clear.

Later we head into the nearby Town of Grand Bend. It is another beach town with largely empty streets. Being mid September lots of things have already shut down for the season. We pop into a store and start talking to the owners. They assure us we are seeing Grand Bend at its best...generally in the summer it is super popular with crowds of people looking to spend time on the beach :)

Later we grab a bite at a Korean place called Seoul Bites. We share the equivalent of Korean sushi and a Bulgogi bowl. It is so fresh and yummy we eat it before we think of taking a picture.

After a walk up to see the marina, we head back to our RV.

Late afternoon we head down to the beach for a swim in Lake Huron. The wind is up a bit so there are waves but the water is warm. 

Later back at the campsite, I see my first ever fire fly...super cool.
