Desert Bike Ride and evening at The Monterey Court in Tucson

We are leaving this incredible biking area tomorrow, a week has flown by. A final ride on the trails is calling and as always it is thoroughly enjoyable. This ride brings in what appears to be an old road. We wonder who built all these trails crisscrossing out here in the desert.

Teddy Bear cactus everywhere-still no flat tires

After our ride we decide tonight is our last night to head into Tucson to The Monterey Court, a live music venue we visited last time through these parts two years ago.

It is an old motel with the inner court yard converted to a stage at the front with tables and chairs for the audience The old motel rooms are now housing local artisans with all sorts of interesting wares for sale.

They serve a simple dinner and have good beer.

Tonight Don Armstrong and The Whiskeypalians are playing. They are a folk-American musical group based out of Tucsan, AZ. The old guy is a great story teller and the woman's voice is really sweet. Fun night.
