Today we drive drive to Pacific Rim National Park to our campsite in the Greenpoint Campground.
After getting set up, the first thing is to head down to Long Beach, and this name truly does this place Justice as it is expansive.
Next we head into Ucluelet to poke about and find a place for tonight's early 5pm hockey game. (Oilers versus Dallas.) We head to the Eagles Nest Pub and sit at the bar where we once again meet very nice locals.
The Oilers don't fare very well tonight as they blow a 3 to 1 lead and end up losing 6 to 3. Ugh. Oh well, fun with the locals who are all cheering for Canada:)
We decide since the sun is an hour away from setting to quickly go and walk the Lighthouse Loop we heard about. It's a beautiful beach trail that leads us to none other than a lighthouse, and a magnificent sunset to end our day.
And the sun has set on another good day :)
