Nutimik Lake, Manitoba

We travel east to Nutimik Lake, which is not far from the Ontario Boarder.

It's a nice drive where we pass a few Sun Flower fields. They are huge, yellow and beautiful. 

Once set up at the campsite, we end up chilling until after supper and then we do a couple hour kayak before the sun sets. It is the first time we are in the kayaks since we left. 

Kayak Nutimik Lake

We head up the Whiteshell River, which is so calm and vibrant with reeds and water lilies. A deer is down at the waters edge drinking.

Then we head around the small island and over to the lake edge of huge colorful rocks. We are into the Canadian Shield :)
