Some leaves just starting to change colors
The trail starts with ridges giving views of the expansive forests. It must be stellar in the fall when the leaves turn bright reds and yellows.

Massive beaver dam
There are numerous large pools of water created by beaver dams, including both dams and lodges. The trees that were flooded by the dam have long since died and snapped off in wind storms. The beaver up here have created quite the life for themselves.

The hike is super nice and we have no problems at all though we are super glad we brought our poles along as some sections are really rocky and lots of roots.

Maple Leaf
We ate our picnic lunch while enjoying the views around us...sometimes the views are something as simple as this colorful Maple Leaf. It must be so glorious in the fall when all the trees are this color.
The final views are of the many lakes, including Whitefish Lake seen here in the video.

Kayaks loaded
At the beach we haul the kayaks up to the truck and while Chris secures them for travel tomorrow, I do a final swim in Pog Lake. Being a cooler day, the water feels like a bathtub. So warm. Chilly getting out...lol
