We decide to 'Seas The Day' and bike from our trailer to Judique along the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail.

It is a classic rails-to-trails bike system that spans 92 kms of former railway bed along the western coast of Cape Breton Island. There are nice views of lakes, pasture land and the coast.
We eat our picnic lunch at the Michael's Landing and watch the bird life in the marsh, including a Bald Eagle :)

We return to Port Hood and continue biking to the local marina and walk about a bit. There is a small boat loading way too many people and their toys on to it...we wonder where they are going and will they make it :)

We chill for the rest of the day and then head down to the beach just as a red-ball-sun is dipping into the water.
